Stupid Ghetto Week in Review.

Quit being so creative with the hood kids names. And think sometimes before you do something, if you think it might save you a gang of dumb.

I am not exactly sure when this whole uber-creative naming process began in the hood but enough is enough. I just read somewhere that a federal judge wants a law passed banning black mothers from naming their own children, i know its a joke or urban myth or something but it does have a place in society. Some of these kids are naming their kids some really strange and ridiculous names.

Did you hear the one where the girl named her baby "Femal'e" because she couldn't think of anything fancy and saw the male, female check boxes on the birth certificate or something like that? That momma needs some slap therapy, slapery.

And what about the girl who when pressed to name the baby after not being able to come up with anything, she finally named the twins "oranjello" and "le'monjello" after consulting the hospital menu. Orange jello and lemon jello, that has to be a urban myth. But i am not sure because i can truly see it happening. I told you about my girl's friend naming her child "Grey Alaska", she needs slap therapy also. And the daddy's seem like they too scared to speak up.

Thats not the only dumb thing i have for you this week, i wish it was but it isn't.

I personally know a girl who has no electricity, it got turned off in the great "its warm we turning off your heat and lights if you didn't pay all winter annual ghetto event." "The great light off" happens every year in the hood. If you give them $20-$25 a month thru the winter they will work with you on the balance and you can "let there be lihgt in the summer", a smart girl hipped me to that so i am sharing just in case you are reading this and happen to be "thinking impaired". Anyway the girl has no lights but when she gets her stimulus check she goes and buys a big flat-screen LCD television. I'm thinking, mah, where you going to plug it in, you don't got no electricity? Why didn't you just pay the bill? We are funny sometimes, fluoride might be making folks dumb.

What about my fake nephew who took his stimulus check and bought rims for vehicle that doesn't even run? His car has been down all may waiting for him to save up for a timing belt. This guy gets the car towed to the shop at the corner to get the rims put on. I felt like slapping him like they use to do the people on the plane that get hysterical.

And don't get to telling me that white people is stupid too, i know they are because almost eveybody stupid it seems. I just wasn't around no white people this month. There is always somebody waiting in the wings to "point out" something to me about a mistake i made or one they imagined. When will they understand that i ain't the type to care?
