You can exorcise your demons but without change, they come right back.

I have seen demons cast out of individuals in the local church and 2 days later the person is right back to their same old ways. I know you’re saying to yourself, “well if the demons were cast out in the name of Jesus or GOD they can’t come back.” Well that’s the thinking that has got our worlds upside down right now. That type of thinking is what keeps us sinners living in sin. Because without the person changing their ways, friends and practices they are leaving the door open to the same demons that were cast out in the name of Jeeeeesus!! I love when preachers say that like that, jeeeesus!!

I know this is a hard fact to swallow, so I will explain it like this. It’s like Being a addicted to cocaine, going through a rehabilitation center, being cured and then going home to live in the same house 100 feet from the dope man. Or being an alchoholic and leaving the 12 step meeting to go back to your apartment over the neighborhood tavern in a car driven by your drinking buddy. Sooner or later you are going to make an unscheduled stop. You have to change your ways. You have to change your friends. And most important of all you have to change yourself. If you fail to do these things you are just telling the demons that it is alright to come on back home, because the same doorway that let them in before is still open. And they will come right on back to you, and if not them then some other demon that preys on anger or pride or greed or any other demon calling behavior. And yes you do have the power to get rid of your own demons. You do need GODS help though in removing them AND identifying them.

You see GOD, at least my God, gave me everything I need to come home to him when my journey here is done. He made sure that even if I never saw another person, pastor, church or scripture, I would not have to dangle in the darkness or burn in the fire, if that’s hell to you. He gave most of us a early sin warning device that lets us know when we are going off the road into sin. The 2008 cadillac escalade ain’t got nothing on us. He gave us a little voice in our heads to tell us when we are about to sin. I always picture it like that old blackman that Dave Chapelle talks about. “Don’t do that nigga, that’s 5 to ten!” if you didn’t hear his comedy you don’t have a clue what I am talking about. But we are equipped to deal with the world before we are even a part of it. Why would my GOD do any different. I’m his property and he’s going to want me back when its over.

I guess what I am trying to say is this. If you have demons and you go to church and get saved, that’s GOD forgiving you for sins of the past, not sins of the future. Saved is like that little orange or yellow get out of jail free card like in monopoly. Saved will get you out of sin jail but but just like monopoly, you roll those dice wrong you can go back. But with your help you can stay FREE, and live in the warm light of GODs love. Because when its all said and done, GOD helps those that help themselves, and a sin is something you know is wrong, through your early warning device or otherwise, and still do it anyway. Get saved, but close the door behind you is what I’m trying to tell you.
